Leave her ALONE...!

You may be wondering " Why such a strong title?" But she is now stronger than ever. She is stepping out of her house, her "used-to-be"comfort zone, now more than ever. She is travelling miles everyday to find her calling. She looks and acts tough too.She is proving it to the world that "she " matters .She is competing with every other male force and beating them often. We are talking about modern day woman, who is not just embracing her new identity with all the courage and confidence but also with a smile which speaks louder than ever. She is compelled to take this decision of stepping out and reasons don't matter really. She is doing whatever she thinks is right for her and for her family .So stop labelling her for her wardrobe and leave her alone.

She travels alone at night, worried less about her safety, more about whether she gets to see her child just one more time before he falls asleep , so she can kiss him good night .She faces perverts with hungry looks everyday on her way to work but she takes inspiration from that lady bus conductor who easily manages to scare them off.She needs to face these predators at work too but she learns how to deal with them. She tries her best to laugh at the silly jokes of her boss when all she could think of is whether her child's temperature has come down yet or whether the care taker has given him his medicine or not.It kills her when she is unable to attend her sick child. When she is home after a tiring day at work, the last thing she wants is to be touched so just leave her alone.

She may not be able to cook fresh food for every meal of the day but at least she is trying her best to bring food to the table. She may not be able to entertain guests or neighbors regularly but that doesn't make her anti-social.She may not be able to keep the house sparkling all the time but that doesn't make her lazy.It tears her apart when she has to leave her child who is screaming " Mommy, please don't leave me".So stop giving her those "oh-such-a-bad-mother" looks because she ain't one.She only knows the pain she is going through so just leave her alone.

It was not her dream to end up in the kitchen when she played with that kitchen set at the age of five so don't confine her to those four walls. She doesn't want to be remembered or appreciated "only" for her cooking skills. She is not a door mat anymore. She has a dream and she has the potential to achieve it.She is independent and she can take care of herself. These qualities do not make her selfish. So stop coming in her way of success and happiness and just leave her alone.
